sharks cause upset of the season
The West Fremantle Cowboys have failed to make the 2013 LFA finals thanks to the Stanly Sharks first win of the season.The Cowboys lost their super star Captain Matthew Tedio in the first quarter to a hamstring injury which kept him out for the remainder of the afternoon.The Sharks lead at quarter time by 20 points and 16 at half time and had control of the match but a brilliant second half from Cowboys Full forward Lynch got the Cowboys back in the game booting 3 goals in the second half and 5 for the match. Despite his efforts the Sharks lead by 26 points with 3 minutes to go in the match.The Cowboys kicked the last 3 goals of the game but it was n't enough losing by 7 points.For the Sharks ruckman Mconnell it was his final appearance for the club and his 100th game and he certainely made it a day to remember kicking 2 goals in the end.
