Yesterday at Shark Park in the LFA season opener the Lego Land Lions defeated the Stanly Sharks by 2 points . The Lions lead at all breaks and at 3 Quarter time they had a 28 point lead , for a highly unlikely victory the Sharks needed to double their score. Aaron Jonas gave them a sniff when he kicked his 4th at the beginning of the last quarter and the Sharks kicked back then kicking 4 unanswered goals to be behind by just 3 points. Thompson , the Sharks full Forward shone with 3 last quarter goals his last giving the sharks a 3 point lead with a minute to go . But the Lions struck back within 30 seconds later with a goal to Davies to see them cling on. Lions gun recruit Tim Waugh will face the league tribunal on monday over his high bump on Joel pearce which gave him a concussion .
