LFA win first State game match

The LFA had a win in the first State Game against the LFL by three points.The match was close all day with neither side able to get a big lead for the entire match.With the Lead sea sawing in the Final term the LFL thought they had one the match when Bourke the LFL ruckman snapped through a goal with 3 minutes to play.The LFA side came back after booting 3 behinds in a row before Simpson soccered through the winner.The star for the LFL was Full forward Leeson who snagged 4 goals and The Papa Medal for Best on Ground for the LFL.The LFA best player was Steel who racked up plenty of touches and 2 great goals.
