United Slaughtered as Strikers win the cup
The Southern Strikers have beaten Northvale 4-0 to finish on top of the LPLS. The strikers dominated from the first minute, scoring seconds in to the first half thanks to sublime strike from import Napooui from long range. It got worse, with french men Chris Maf beating the keeper to make it two nil 5 minutes later. The score stayed the same at half time, with Northvale slowly getting themselves back in the game but things just weren't going right for the United boys, with there frustration being shown with both Clarke and Blyth being sent off with Reds, leaving United with three players on the field for the last 5 minutes.
Maf added a second minutes after thanks to a circling kick that drifted over goalkeeper Everitt's head, while Napooui added to the score sheet with seconds to go to give the Strikers top spot and a home semi final.
